Show off your Peas!

I've never seen them eating there crest feathers but who knows. I'll know more when he breeds and has offspring.
I never saw my peahen eat my other peahen's crest but you will notice it if they are eating them because the crest will become less and less. Though it could be a Spalding but I've only seen Spalding peafowl with a tight crest going straight up.

That was Emerald's introduction into the pea herd! All of the females relived him of his crest! He now had it back. I guess they have accepted him, lol

The greens and pieds getting ready for bed , they are worse than children fussy, fussy when they are tired, don't want to give in to sleep and always bothering their brothers and sisters .

Last eggs of the season guinea fowl and peafowl, this was a great season short and sweet

He came from a fellow BYC member. .but the one in the bator I took the plunge and got from Ebay! All of them were marked with PW,P,B or G's.

The add was for Bronze/Opal/Pied..w/e mixed in there but no mention of Greens. I haven't been able to figure out what that "G" may mean so I emailed them because the one that is hatching is marked with a G.

They came from OH. Maybe a BYC here..don't know.
