I think she's close, she's 18 weeks old on Monday. I got a squat a few days ago and my husband swears someone was warming up their egg song. We'll see, I sure hope she doesn't keep me waiting until 24 weeks! The fact that she would lay early and often was the reason I got her. I think I'll always have one though, such great personalities.

if she has started squatting she should be laying within a week maybe two weeks.

Golden comet update, squatting has continued and just today there's a little chicken butt-shaped depression in my nest box, right on top of my fake egg. She'll be 19 wks on Monday. Come on, chicken! Lay me an egg!
