He is pretty low key. He isn't what I would call affectionate but he doesn't mind being handled either. He has never shown any aggression to any of us. He was very hard to sex when he was little. His name changed from Millie to Miles once we figured out he was a male.

I’m hoping I can say that …… at some point my rooster is kinda mean…. ; ( he’s beautiful and does what he’s suppose to by protecting the girls. I have had to pin him multiple times when he starts acting up. Like if I run he will run after me and I will have to grab him and pin him than he will be chill for a while…. ; /

I tried that, but my older, more dominant rooster, Blue, was constantly chasing my younger boy, Gus. They are now separated, and we are looking for a new home for Gus. It really just depends on the two roosters. I’ve had some that coexist well, but just not these two.

I don't know about all of my roosters but I don't think any rooster would feel comfortable with someone running around them. That will certainly make them very nervous. If he is aggressive, sometimes it's just how they're going to be unfortunately. I have some aggressive roosters too and there is nothing I can do to make them realize that humans are not their enemy or a threat, but I have tried. Hopefully your rooster will calm down and work with you to care for the hens

My roosters live together with an exception of one that has gout and he is terrified of the other boys and my Silkies because they're fairly fragile.
