Yes, very fluffy! Not skittish at all either, which surprised me. I think that may be due to the place we got them from, kids handling them often.

It makes for a very adaptable, friendly chicken.

Mine too. Although they are kinda odd... with the fur and 5 toes.. I find them very cute and just so friendly.

Well here are our new acquisitions to show,
I got a blue splash to breed with my sizzle cockerell at a swap meet from Sunshine Silkies and my oldest granddaughter got a little sizzle too.
Well after picking my blue splash out a little black cockerell ran out of the cage and rite up to my grandson!! Vickie said to him "That one must be yours you can have him" I about fell over from shock!
Then my youngest granddaughter said she wanted one and Vickie told her to pick one out too as it was not fair one got one and not the other!
I was still in shock from the 1st one being given that it took a minute for the 2nd to hit!

All in all I went to pick up a Black Copper Marans for my wife and a Silkie for me and wound up with 5 birds LOL

Anyway here are the new silkies enjoy!
