Show off your small or cheap made coop

My coop is halfway there. My husband is a carpenter, All of the supplies were leftover from jobs, given to us or we had. We bought a few 2x4's and we'll have to buy the fencing. But virtually free.

I love this! Such useful stuff on here. I am not quite finished with mine yet but will post a photo anyway. That'a a satellite dish for the roof, planning on using some tin from the old coop to cover half for the roost area. .

meganpearson, please share how the posts are connected to the satellite dish. Did you drill holes through the metal for bolts? I have two of these dishes and would love to make coops out of them.

Our 5'x5'x5' coop from almost all repourposed materals. Our first attempt at keeping chickens. Attached is old dog kennell.
Friend donated old window mounted sidewys and can be opened from outside only, also donated sky lights. I put dollar store vinal tiles on the inside for easy cleaning.



Finally finished. I made the funiture out of old pallets from work. A little stain and you have free yard furniture.

Here is our mobile coop/run. Still waiting on some trim and shingles...but hey, at least the chickies are out of the basement!!

Here is mine all finished up! just have to put a water'er and a feeder in and I can go and get the hens! $200 total!
