Yes, he has a nice full crest, which I'm happy about, because some silkie roos I have had in the past were really mean and didn't have very much crest. I've had much better luck with nice silkie roos having full crests. I have no idea why the crest would affect personality though

Hmm? That strange!! maybe just the nicer quaility birds they cull the mean ones out of the breeding program?

Yes, I would love to show my buff hen and white hen. They're very well behaved and I have already given them baths and blow dried them before. My white one liked the warm water so much I had to keep her head up cause she was going limp, lol

Are white silkies dominant white? If so, your white silkie’s eggs will hatch white chicks. I might pay for some...

I know that there’s a silver based white and dominant white. It looks like your roo might have one copy of dominant white. If you breed one copy of dominant white to two copies 3/4 will be pure white. I think.
