Ive never showed any bird at all. Frankly showing makes me nervous. Cause of the fact you have to leave your birds some where over night. But my daughter is wanting to show this fall. I told her she can take one of our silkies. So I was outside today looking at the birds and although they are still feathering out. My oldest silkies should be old enough to show this fall. They were 6-8 weeks old when I got them in the first week of April. So they are getting close to 4 months old now. My lightest colored hen is showing the most prospect imo. Here are some photos of her and a blue hen that I also think is really nice looking. Sorry for the wire. I didnt have time to take them out and take individual photos.

They are a little dirty but yeah I can go get some photos. Will take me a few mins. I have to get my youngest daughter dressed and take her out with me XD she is runnin round in just a diapper (dont you love a toddler's refusal to wear clothing?)

They look good, but their foot feathering is lacking on a few. Unless it has just broken off or fallen out, foot feathers won't just grow, regardless of the amount of time given. They're still young, but in 4 months, they will be much more filled out. They do look pretty good though.

Silkies will be my next choice......The silkies at the shows are just stunning......
I love the splash and blue ones you have.

your Silkies are verrrry pretty. Show them and see, constructive critisicm from a learned judge is how we learn. Best of luck to your daughter.

I love the pic of all the fluffy butts walking away, cute cute.
