I LOVE this guy's long back. It looks like he may have a high tail angle ( if he had any tail feathers).
The legs long solid with a decent width.
The head and neck looks good. His comb is not perfect, but it is better than some of the others.
He has a lot of white on his chest, but there looks to be a lot of black too.
He does have a few white feathers in the wings, but he is only 17 - 18 weeks old too.
This is the fourth cockerel I have posted so far and I think I am kinda liking him....
So... Walt and Don is this guy chicken and dumplings material or does he have some potential ? ?
I will track down our top two or three picks and get wing shots and weights...
I think number #22, post #330 on page 33 is the biggest cockerel I have.
I like #22's size, but his shape is not as smooth as this boy's.
You call it a "topline" when you are looking at the flow down the neck, back, and up the tail.....What do you call the bottom - - when you look at the silhoutte from the chest, between the legs, and up the tail ? ?
