If Snowbird is going to critique the birds could you please do it on the forum? I'm still working on mine and love to learn more!

The tail looks like they are supposed too. It looks a little open and I like it. She has way too much white though. I like her back a lot. I would use a male with less white and run with it. She looks to also have some pure white wing feathers.I wondered if anyone could comment on this girl? She's moulting and looks terrible. She just spent two months broody and was unsuccessful. That aside-- I saved her mostly for her tail. I had never seen a tail on a speckled Sussex like this before. I know she has many faults but do you think she is worth a try breeding for the tail? Or is it not even a correct tail? It's normally not that messy! It's normally a perfect arch--all feathers in line. I could see if I have any pictures of her when she looked neat.
Thanks in advance
Leighanne

Will give some info on what I see and not intended to offend in any way.
I would like the tail to be alittle wider starting at the top
The back appears to be a bit narrow and I also do not like the split in back making the cushion really stick up, this will help cause high tail set.
The hackle is really liking in white spangle color.

8 week old "Heritage breed" Sussex. What exactly is that?
