I have a chick that we're 90% sure is a rooster. I was told to not hold him as much so he stays friendly but I want him to be a show rooster so he needs to be used to being held and touched everywhere. What do I do?

There's no truth to the part about holding him. For show birds you want to work with them and get them used to being handled as much as possible.

Holding cockerels is perfectly fine, & doesn't make them mean.
I hold mine all the time, starting from day 1. Only mean ones I've experienced have had a mean gene, from a Man-Fighter in past ancestry.

Yes ik!! If he ends up being mean then oh well 🤷‍♂️ I'll just know not to let them have kids
Was just saying since most roosters backgrounds are unknown. But I don't think you have to worry about your's.

Yes! Hold him a ton!!!!!!!!!
Do you have any pictures of him?
I love looking at handsome roosters. :celebrate
