Show us your funny, friendly, fantastic CHICKEN pictures!

Here's a few more of Foggy on his new ladder swing. He's overseeing his realm and watching over his harem.

He seems to be the only one roosting, so far. Probably because he is bigger than the pullets.

Here, he seems done with the photo shoot and is wanting to hangout on my shoulder. He has such a personality on him! I really hope he stays sweet.

This was one sunny summer afternoon that I would love to relive. This is Dixie and Damon the Seramas. Dixie is a pet and more like a dog versus a chicken. She was a huge part of my daily life and traveled the country with me - not as a show bird but as my road companion. She was pretty well known around here and loved to bum around town following me or sitting atop my purse. At the local Walmart they would be disappointed if she wasn't in tow. I lost my sweet Dixie last week when she crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully in my lap.
In the first photo Damon seems to be checking out her... vent. And the second she looks rather unimpressed with his display. And the rest SHE was teaching HIM to properly crow. The world is darker without my sweet Dixie. RIP Dix.

here is my hen as a young pullet, using her wings to help her get up the ladder, she has just started laying, she moved into the grown up coop months ago, but was running around her old one, where she was hatched, when I opened it up, she went inside and laid her first ( and all the other ) egg/s in there, here she is as a grown up, telling me to open up the hatch so she can lay her egg

Here's my Foggy! He's looking so grown up.💙
I let him hang out on the counter while I make up the chick feed. In this picture, he looks like he's saying, "This is my best side, mom!"
I hope he stays as loving and personable when he's a full grown roo.
