I have five eggs on lockdown, due tomorrow. I just checked and have three pips and can hear cheeping!

My first batch of showgirl eggs, I ended up with one showgirl and one silkie. I can't wait for these new chicks!

So for those who help the struggling chicks during hatching, when do you step in? I have eggs in he incubator day 8 and nervous extremly nervous for hatch day...

Still no chicks, but all five have pipped and one with it beak peeking through

Good thing I'm not working today, I don't think they can hatch without my nose pressed to the incubator window!

The first two are out!

The first chick was a silkie and is dark. They are still wet, but it's looking maybe blue.............

The second chick out is a HUGE showgirl. It is white and I think a see a small black spot of pigment on the back. So I may have a paint!!!

These were SG eggs from a paint pen!

I'll post pictures when the hatch is done and they have fluffed up.

Just candled my eggs, this is day 7, and 19 out of 21 are developing. Can see the little embryos moving around in the eggs so cool.. I really like my Microwave incubator. seems to keep a steady temp as long as the light doesn't burn out or i have a power outage.
