To prevent confusion with NN and turkens (which people commonly call naked neck, despite the fact they are not the same), NN can be referred to as homozygous. Nn (with bowtie) is the heterozygous form.

I am starting to think my showgirl is a "showguy". With silkies and showgirls, do the roo's end up with the red around their noses and the girls don't, or?

hello maybe I can help with this...
as far as what you get (naked neck/bowtie) in breeding showgirls depends on what is bred to what

NN(naked neck SG) X NN SG= all NN

NN X Bowtie = 50/50

NN X Silkie = all bowties

Bowtie X Silkie = 50% bowtie and 50% silkie

all the silkie offspring will be full silkie.

Well...thats what my showgirl looks like, but she is white, sooooo I guess it is a girl.

I have two white Showgirls, one is male one is female. Well actually I gave the rooster to some one who has more use for him as she has many Sikies and now she can have more Showgirls. The colors of their offsprings will depend on the colors of the hens. If the white rooster mates with a white Silkies who does not have any other genetic material other that for white feathers, the offsprings will be all white. Some of those offsprings will be NN/Silies which are called Showgirls.

If the white rooster (Showgirls) mates with any other color Silkie some of the offsprings will be NN/Silies of various colors and some will be regular Silkies of various colors. Because NN gene is dominate some of the offsprings will be Nn or just have on NN gene .

Well I may be wrong about the offsprings except for the color. Showgirls come in several colors and it has nothing to do with the gender of the bird.

Showgirls are a new breed. Silkies are Silkies. Some folks have spent a long time working to breed Showgirls. They used NN birds which is a breed developed in Europe a long time ago for dual purpose, good egg production and meat. NN also called turkens and other names lay lots of large light brown eggs and are easier to process for meat since they have at least 1/3 less feathers. Several decades ago some folks wanted to breed bantam turkens and need to go through years of breeding the Large Fowl Turkens/NN with bantam hens until finally you can get a turken bantam which if mated with other bantam Turken/NN and breed true. Which means all offspring will be unified Turken/NN Bamtams

So the third step folks used those bantam NN/turkens to Silkies which are true bantam (there is not Large Fowl equivalent) after decades of many generation of breeding they got SHOWGIRLS. So no I do not think that anyone wants to make showgirls a variety of Silkies. They are genetically related but different breeds.
