Anybody?

It is hard to tell....I am thinking either mixed or possibly put of a porcelain project pen? Where are they from? Do you know anything about the parent's colors?

They're from Fowlrus. They do raise porcelains. I sold one early on that was regrettably lavender. wish I would have kept that one

I'm considering selling them, but if they don't sell I want to get some silkies or something to fill thier pen a bit. I need to know what colors I should go with. I like the lighter, but not white, birds.

I would ask Angie about the porcelains...I know at one point she had them! They do look like some sort of lavender dilute, so if I were you and decided to keep them I would try to pair them with a nice lav silkie.

Just looking again and they really do look like buff diluted with lav. Try them with a porcelain or lav. Ps...I do have an egg listing that may be of interest for possible mates...The pen the eggs are coming from are from a Porcelain Roo over two porcelain hens, and 3 lavender showgirl hens. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=563200 This will prob be my only listing for them ever as the porcelains are sold. They go to their new home next Sat. I will be putting the three lav sg hens under a black split silkie when they are gone and only working on lavender showgirls, black splits, and blacks from now on.
I also am selling Blue/splash eggs until my blues and splashes are all in their new homes.

Cool- thanks! I am really surprised at how small the birds are. I had thought that having the turken blood would make them a bit bigger than bantam. So fun though. I have to check out those eggs!

Yeah! I LOVE my showgirls!

I never thought I would but now I could not live without them. They are all silkie but have better vision without the extra feathers so act a bit more like a regular chicken in that they can SEE! Mine use ramps, so out and scratch more, and just seem hardier in general. They do have all silkie features, and the sweet personalities though. I have also found the chicks to be hardier and the breeders more fertile. ESPECIALLY with the lavenders as compared to lavender silkies.

Angie's porcelains came from my porcelain silkie project. The roo in my flock is a sweet beautiful, calm bird from George's lines, and the hen is from Bren's lines. These two are the parents of Angie's original porcelains. I'd breed them with lavender. It's entirely possible you got lavenders from that parentage also--I occasionally get a lavender from that pair. I've kept several nice porcelains from that pairing, but have also added other lines into the mix.

I have one of the oddest looking chickens on the planet. His dad was a showgirl, but I'm not sure what his mama was. Meet Frizzbie (and his 2 buddies, one of which is also 1/2 SG):

Poor ol' Frizz has a face like a buzzard.
