I'll give you a little hope here. In my experience, showgirls can have some red/larger comb formations that most silkies. I had two showgirls in the past I swore were both male and they both ended up being female. Showgirls are trickier in my opinion. I've seen hundreds of these showgirls and can honestly say I'm not completely convinced yours is male. How is his/her stance? Can you get a full body picture from a side angle?

As long as the crest stays nice and round as it is now (no streamers) I say that’s a girl.

The silkie roosters I've had were very aggressive so it really depends on the individual ;D

Mine was my baby from day1, I held him daily with lots of hugs and kisses. Yes, you are right it does depend on the individual, I should have said that. sorry you had bad luck with your boys
