It's good to see you back

Hope you're making a speedy recovery!

Yay, eggs on the way! We have the bator ready and running.
By spring we hope to have a happy little flock. Last week, a friend of ours dropped off a 6'x4'x6' wooden box complete with doors! All we have to do is paint/side it, slap a slanted roof and some windows on. My mom is in chicken heaven!

I bought some showgirl eggs from Julie also, and they began hatching last night. The first to pop out was a blue showgirl! I can't wait to see the rest, but I still have some marans in my cabinet incubator hatching so I can only peek in there & shine a flashlight on them. I can't wait to look at them!

If I can ever get time in the next few days, I'd love to post a pic of them.

Julie, I hope you're feeling better. I probably had that same flu bug a couple of months ago and it was AWFUL!

It took weeks to get over it. I hope you can sit back and take it easy, drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest.

Hi Carla, Good to hear from you. I am fighting this awful flu bug with everything I've got. It's kicking my tail.....
