Ok here is the final results at 8 pm the 24th day I have finished my hatch with 3 white silkies 2 white showgirls 1 black silkie 1 black showgirl 2 splash showgirls and 1 I think partridge showgirl but not sure she is still kinda wet I also had 5 cuckoo marans hatch

wow Danny!!! Great, you got 2 Blue splash!!! I am so happy for you. Are the kids playing with them yet? Mine couldnt keep their little hands off them. hehehe I am very happy for you. We do need pics to satisfy our awwww habbit!!

Okay...I got the goods!! Here are Danny's sweet little babies! They are so cute.

They truely are cute. I bet the kids are having a ball! hehehe

The ones with the dots on their heads...Are they the cuckoo Marans? Thats what my Barred rock mix looked like and I think they look a bit like the cuckoos. Great job! Congrats!

I am thinking I got myself a blue splash out of my batch as well. how can you tell for sure?

The blue splash are just the color. Mottled I believe with greys and blues. They really are beautiful. I hope you do have one!!

Blue splash is kinda light grey or white with blue streaks all over it. I have 1 that has really dark blue streaks and one that has a lighter blue streaks. I had one white silkie that has 5 toes black skin and pinkish feet I guess that comes from the turken side.
The ones with the white dots on there heads are cuckoo marans they look just like the barred rocks when they are born you can color sex them as chicks bye how dark the chick is if ygr chick has more of a grey color it is supposed to be a rooster all but one of mine look like a rooster but hopefully I have more than one hen I might be going to pick up some welsumer chics from ausisharon this week so I will maybe have more to choose from that way. I really want a welsumer rooster so that will be great .
I was going to sell some of my showgirls/silkies but I only have 16 of them and by the time I figure out wich ones are roosters and hens I will keep 1 showgirls rooster and find a home for the others .
