My chicken house construction finally finish, just about all of my hens went on strike since the job began, I fund egg production dropped way down, and since all that noice stop, they seems so much happier, maybe they will start to laying again.....

How's everyone's showgirl doing? I would love to see a lavender or blue showgirl picture, anyone????

That is good news!!! I hope they start laying soon for you.

My sgowgirls are great! I just wish I could sex them. I have no idea whats a roo and whats a pullet. hehehe They are beautiful though.
I will attach some glamour shots of them. LOL I do love these little guys. The kids go out and play with them everyday still. They never tire of them. Thanks Angie. Now my dad wants some. hehehe He is just jealous.

Angie I candled mine last night and all look good except one clear.
It was day 13.
I also have silkies from pumpkinpup but 6 out of 12 are clear

4 wellsummers and all look good.

IM hoping for some babies on the 23 rd or 24 th !

How is every one doing I am great . My showgirls are doing great to my 1st batch is huge and my second batch is getting there I have 3 buffs that are very pretty out of the second batch but my favorite is my splash I ended up keeping all of my silkies and showgirls I gave away all of my cuckoo marans that hatched they were all roosters but I picked up some welsumers chicks from ausieSharon and they are some very nice looking chicks 5 hens 1 rooster right now I think. Nice seeing someone else is hatching showgirls good luck

Today is day 20 ! Im a wreck ! Tomorrow will be day 21 at 5 PM !!!!

IM so excited ! My hatch has gone well. Only one spike to 102 but not for over an hour. I haven't had to make any adjustments except for that one all of the incubation period. This is my 3 rd time so Im pleased so far.

I will keep you posted OK !
