Sick 7 Year Old Hen

How old is she? Flash, it would be helpful to know if the crop emptied overnight, and to watch to see if she is laying eggs. Have you seen any abnormal or shell-less eggs? You can insert a clean finger into her vent 2 inches to feel for a stuck egg, to rule that out. What are you feeding? I would not be giving her any type of molasses or other flush right now, since you don’t know what is wrong. Check her body for any moving bugs (lice or mites or their eggs.) Get her drinking water or some electrolytes by holding a small cup or lid up to her beak often. It might be good to separate her inside a dog crate on puppy pads or a towel to see what her droppings look like. Consider worming her if you haven’t recently.
7 yrs old. Her crop emptied overnight. Yes we did have one shell less egg, but that was from our 8 yr old Wyandotte. We feed some type of pellets (I'll have to see if we have an unopened bag somewhere.) And I have been trying to rid them of lice, but she has the smallest case I'm pretty sure.

Here are the photos of her, and the one and only ( 😬 ) poo she did in the night.
Sorry about the photos of her being 'cut' in half by the wood. I didn't want to move her too much and stress her more then she has been.

It's not necessary to have evidence that this hen is laying. Any hen, at any time, no matter how old, can lay an egg. The older they are, the more chance there is that the egg will lack a shell and get stuck. Therefore, it's wise to proactively pop a calcium tablet into the hen's beak the minute you see her acting like she doesn't feel well. The calcium won't hurt a thing if this is not her issue, and it can literally save her life if it is.

This is what I use as it acts fastest of all forms of calcium.

Okay thanks. This is what she looks like now:
I don't know why she looks fine here, but at night she looks awful, could she just be getting old?
