The confusion is all my fault. I have never started a thread on here before, and don't get on it very often, so I jumped into someone else's thread to ask a question about something that seemed related to the problem my little hen is having. I'm sorry, and I do appreciate you for answering me, or at least trying to!

Yes @Celticdragonfly was responding to the original poster.
Golden comets are a tough bird to have, you kind of have to manage your expectations that you will have a limited time with them. Just treat them well and enjoy them and take comfort that you have done your best and given them a great life.
I found that mine needed more calcium than my other hen breeds, and fewer treats.
