I put in long days just sat down check my emails. I bought 50 plus chicks last form our farmers Co op they the ones who told us to use this we had one that looked sick dull eyes drooping head wasn't drinking or eating and like you saw this right away went to ask what to do. mixed it up took a small syringe made it drink a few ccs .treaded all 25 in the brooder didn't lose any. I'm hatching my on eggs this year have 39 so far 26 are in my brooder there on it now .If one has it whatever it is then they can all get it. I have a Maran hen that was cut really bad I was sure she was going to die sprinkled it dry on the wound after I cleaned it every day and put it in her water she's laying again. I have treated my own animals for many years always had chickens I always brought grown hens last was the first time I raised chicks . I had no ideal chickens cost so much.do all you can to keep them well.
