I have a black Minorca hen who was fine last night.... I brought her and her best friend in the house because the other minorca had an injury. They are inseperable, one does not do anything without the other so they both came in. This morning I went in and June (the other is Johnny cause I thought she was a rooster) is just laying there listless. She isn't egg bound, she has no ticks, all she does is sleep. When she's awake, she has kind of a jerkiness about her. She jerks her head. I have been giving her water through a straw and also water with a bit of apple cider vinegar. Any ideas? Also she kind of jerks her head while she's asleep. And she just let go of a really nasty poop. Failed to mention she did that earlier this morning too. These two are my favorites. They jump up and ride on my sholders when I go out to the coop. I don't want anything to happen to her.

It sounds like she could have a brain injury. The best thing to do for that is vitamin E and sugar water.
I actually did give her sugar water this morning.... she seems to be a bit more perkier after that monsterous poop. But she's back asleep....

Sugar is food for the brain. Glucose feeds it. If she can heal from a brain injury, the sugar can help. The E is also good medicine for anything neurological. Keep up the sugar water every hour. Give an E capsule once a day directly into her beak.
