This is what we found. She will take water from a syringe. Will not eat solids. Just chirps over and over.
Not scared of us. Will not walk. Poop is clearish.

We put that purple no peck stuff on the back.

Thoughts?

My chick got pecked like that too! well she is healed now and she was eating and drinking and playing just fine unlike your poor chicken. i just put her in a box with a heat lamp (no back feathers ) and supplied her with food and water. it healed in no time!

maybe if you look it up online, when my chick got pecked my friend reccomended taking her to a vet that sees chickens to help it heal faster and better, so maybe take her/him to the vet

Is there any type on antibiotic cream to put on her?

Yes, Neosporin WITH OUT THE "CAIN" pain reliever....just original, plain Neosporin.

But be careful, if she's in a coop with shavings...sometimes, the shavings stick to the wound, which is worse than what it looks like now. Picking shavings out of a wound is not any fun....trust me!

If you're concerned that other birds are picking it - you can devise an inexpensive solitary confinement coop out of a large dog crate (like the travel ones) - just add a 2x4" bar as a roost bar a few inches off the floor. You can line the bottom with paper towels instead of shavings, although at her size, you'll need to change the paper toweling at least every day. Make sure food and water are accessible inside the enclosure - and when she's feeling better, she'll want to be out with her friends. Otherwise, if she's hurting that much that she's wanting to be alone, she's asking to be quarantined and helped.

Best of luck!

seems like she is doing fine now. We kept her isolated for 2-3 days. She is now running with the flock. but she still makes a very unique chirp, just like in the video. she makes over and over and over. but other than that, she seems fine.
