I am a new chicken farmer with an 8 hen flock and one of my skittish hens that hasnt started laying yet is laying in a dug out hole in the dirt and sound as if she might be coughing a little. She doesnt want to move unless i get too close. Is she sick? Are my other hens at risk? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
