Sick Chicken possibly cocci or worms?

Just going to throw this out there. Do they free range? Is there any type of debris in the yard. Like cigarette butts or plastics? My hens tried to eat the plaster stuck in buckets i was rinsing out. But a hen ate a cigarette butt once ( from the hubby) and her poop looked horrific for the next few days. Im vigilant about them now and the hubby (if he knows whats best for him) is too. I hope she gets well soon.

I used one he suggested that was a powder you mixed in with food. She is currently on clavamox for 10 days, finished 3rd day today. I was going to to pick up some corid to treat the possibility of coccidosis. What wormer do you recommnd?

For wormer I would use Safeguard for Goats. What's the Clavamox dose you are giving?

How much does she weigh?

4 maybe 5 pounds, I need a scale so weigh her, but she is putting on some weight as of last few days

Twice a day is correct, but the bird dose is supposed to be more than that.

I think he was concerned about liver function, why he chose a lower dose

My avian vet prescribed Clavamox twice. One bird weighed 3 kg (6.6 pounds) and her dose was 250 mg twice a day. The other one was 4 kg and his dose was 500 mg twice a day.

You might want to double check because to me it sounds like the cat/dog dose.

Hmm I'm using the oral liquid.. I'm going to consult another vet anyways to get a second opinion, those doses are much higher haha
