Hi there, and welcome to BYC. Sorry your first post had to be about sick chickens.

It sounds like you imported a disease into your flock when you brought in the new birds.

Chickens don't get colds. There are a number of respiratory diseases they get, and it is difficult to determine which one it might be from your description.

Can you give us more information? How old are the birds, how are they eating and drinking, does their poop look normal, when is the last time you wormed them, if ever, when did you introduce the new birds into your flock?

Rattle noise isn't a very specific description, so I can't answer that. But the first thing I would do is separate her from everyone else, keep her warm and provide food and water.

How long have you had the 2 new ones, and did you quarantine them first? (It's recommended that you quarantine new chickens for at least a month before letting them near the flock.)

Please check out this link, it tells you what info is needed before anyone can really help you.

Welcome to BYC, wish you had better circumstances! Good luck, a pro will probably be along soon!

what bedding are you using?
dusts, dander, molds and ammonia can irritate lungs..
separate the sick bird.
keep warm and protected from drafts.
give some egg mixed with feed..you can add plain yogurt and hot water to puff up the feed..
give vitamins

keep check on others for symptoms.

I prefer Tylan 50 injectable or LS-50 for respiratory infections.
