I noticed earlier this week one of my chickens sounded a little snotty and congested but didn't really think much of it, but today I was digging up some weeds in the chook yard and noticed she still sounds really sick. So I did some googling and now I'm terrified that my whole flock are going to get sick.
She sounds like she's got a snotty nose and I picked a big clump of dirt off ger beak that was blocking her nose and it smelled kinda fishy. It looks like it's only one nostril that's runny (and its clear discharge) but she does smell. And she keep coughing or sneezing, not sure which one.
The other chooks look and sound okay, I've isolated this one for now, but not really sure what to do with her. And also wondering whether there's are chance all my other chooks will be okay? I just bought three of my fav breed this week and spent $200, plus I have 6 other chooks, im going to be so devo if I have to cull them all
