I noticed earlier this week one of my chickens sounded a little snotty and congested but didn't really think much of it, but today I was digging up some weeds in the chook yard and noticed she still sounds really sick. So I did some googling and now I'm terrified that my whole flock are going to get sick.
She sounds like she's got a snotty nose and I picked a big clump of dirt off ger beak that was blocking her nose and it smelled kinda fishy. It looks like it's only one nostril that's runny (and its clear discharge) but she does smell. And she keep coughing or sneezing, not sure which one.
The other chooks look and sound okay, I've isolated this one for now, but not really sure what to do with her. And also wondering whether there's are chance all my other chooks will be okay? I just bought three of my fav breed this week and spent $200, plus I have 6 other chooks, im going to be so devo if I have to cull them all 😭

Are there any bubbles in the eyes? Since there is a smell it may be coryza. Not sure how that's treated or how hard it is to treat. I'm curre fly treating my girls for mycoplasma gallisepticum. They have congestion, snot, discharge from mouth and eyes, swelling on face but no smell.

That sounds horrible 😞 hope they get better

Please post some photos of the hen, her nostrils and the inside of her beak.

Were you able to get the nostril completely unclogged?

I can't see anything wrong with the eyes. It's just the one nostril and it's clear discharge, but defs has an odd smell. The rest of the flock look okay for now, surely if non of the rest of them show symptoms, they may not have caught it right? There are about 10 other chooks surely one of them would show signs if they caught it.
