I don’t seem to be having much luck lately
a while ago one of my brahma girls started opening her mouth to breathe I didn’t hear any sneezing so I wormed them with pellets after the vet advising me too, a few days later she was still doing it and sadly died.
a month and a half down the line another one started doing it this time I heard her sneezing before she started opening her mouth to breathe I started them on tylosin in their water but sadly the day after I saw her opening her mouth to breathe she died also I’m so sad I don’t seem to have much luck lately
my hen and cockerel i have left my hen has started to sneeze ;(
my vet has advised me to put tylosin in her water but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and wonder if it maybe gapeworm rather than a respiratory infection ?
my hens would be about 6 months old no new birds had been added to this run so nothing has been brought in and they all came from the same home I had owned them since they were young
Any advice if someone has had this before I’m trying my best to save them
I’ve attached a photo as it won’t upload a video of my hen who passed away
