Sick chicken

Check her crop early in the morning to see if it empties properly overnight.

Sometimes a dead entangled wormload can clog up the digestive system and cause crop malfunctions.
Ok I checked and her crop is still full of water this morning How do I unclog her crop?

Ok so this morning I checked her crop like @LaFleche recommended. It was full and watery and I tipped her forward and massaged her crop and a ton of clear smelly liquid came out. Now I’m syringing the sugar/baking soda/salt/water mixture that @azygous recommended and planning on going out to buy activated charcoal like @Wyorp Rock suggested. Is this still my best course of action given the new developments with her smelly crop water vomiting? Should I massage her crop? Try apple cinder vinegar or oil?

Thank you!

Here’s an update. After she vomited the smelly crop water I syringed the sugar/baking soda/salt water mixture into her. The whole cup. Did some massaging. Waited. Syringed 2 teaspoons of olive oil and massaged her crop. She looks miserable. What should I do now?
I haven’t used the activated charcoal as @Wyorp Rock suggested yet because I’m guessing she has a crop impaction and that won’t help. Is that right? Or is it possible that she doesn’t have a crop issue despite the smelly vomiting this morning? Help is much appreciated. I’m very worried and ready to take her to the vet.

Sounds like she has Sour Crop. I'd treat according to the article

You should take her to the vet.
