sick chicken

I have a 6 month old Buff Orpington. In the last couple of days she seems depressed. Her eyes are clear and has now discharge from her nostrils. She has been laying randomly the last week or so but hasn't the last two days. She is keeping to herself and sleeping a lot. Any suggestions on what could be going on.

We've had chickens who had the same symptoms. We treated for lice and that worked. So she may have lice or mites. Hope this helps!

 

[Eggcessive]

I would watch her for more symptoms of respiratory disease, especially sneezing or difficulty breathing. Facial or eye swelling, eye bubbles, and gurgles or wheezes when breathing are others.
