It was a rodeo, but I caught and administered Valbazen to the other 6 hens and 1 Rooster; today. I figured If one had worms, they might all have them. Anything else that I should do with the ground where they are pooping or the coop?
Any suggestions will be Appreciated!
Thank You mg15, but I have been tube feeding her for about 5-days. Now I'm tube feeding twice a day. And thanks to another concerned poster's advice, a piece of the clear tygon tubing used with fish aquarium; has been working just fine for tube feeding.
The hen is perkier today, eating a some laying pellets and I'm not positive, but I think she may have even drank a little water. I started weighing her daily, she gained 1-ounce the first day.
I'm a little concerned about the Valbazen that I gave her, when I gave it to her, we were holding her over a large garbage can and I could have swore that after I had administered it to her and she was trying to drink it down, I saw something drop into the garbage can. So I'm not totally convinced I gave her enough, because at her size, the dose was only .3 cc, to start with. And I've only seen about 5-6 worms in her poo. A long 10-day wait to give her the second dose!
