Sick Duck with soft suishy belly.

@casportpony the night we brought her in she was 3.8 pounds. I weighed her then because I gave her a dose of Tylan50 - weighed her just a bit ago and she still weighs 3.8. Had her in the tub after and got her to eat a few peas. She hasn't been eating very much. Last night when my daughter went to get her - she was hiding in the corner of the pen. I didn't put her out today. She is still not herself. I haven't given her any more antibiotics other than the first dose. I was worried with the goo in her eye she might be getting a repertory infection.

Very sorry for your loss. :hugs I just lost my beloved turkey yesterday and as much as I didn't want to, I did a necropsy to see what she died from and I got some relief seeing that nothing could have save her. I suspect your duck had something similar. Again, so sorry for your loss. :hugs

Thank you - I'm sorry to hear about your Turkey. :hugs It is funny how these little critters can climb into your heart. I figure she did too. After I started reading - which in normally what I do as soon as I notice anything wrong, I knew the odds weren't that great, so I had prepared myself and my daughter. All our ducks are her "pets". Thanks again for all the valuable information you give to others out here. And I am so sorry for your loss too.
