Sick duckling!!! Please help. really worried UPDATE

Ok well i am off to the store right now. I will buy the charcoal and see if it helps. Should i try the epsoms salt after that or no? I checked the vitamin pack and it says 1tsp to 1 gallon of water. I will lay off of it for a couple days and see what happens i guess. Just supper worried and want to do the best i can to make her better. She has been sleeping none stop not for the past 4 hours when she is usually awake and running around.

I have used one capsule of charcoal (I opened it up and sprinkled it on the water) in about a quart of drinking water. You could put one in a cup of water, I think that should be fine.

You may want to search the forum and see what others have said about using epsom salts. It's a laxative, and so there's some risk in my opinion with giving it. The charcoal is pretty benign.

And again, if it's an infection, you need to get help (I apologize, I wish I knew more about it) with type and dosage, if you feel that would be a good thing to do.

Praying for you both!

I know Amegia has been helping you but I don't think I would give her both the charcoal and the epsom salt. you don't want to over load her system.. A pinch of activated charcoal in some water. okay thank ful Amiga is still here.

Mine will do that too. I have used Equine Fresh pine pellets for all my chicks, chickens, ducklings, and ducks. I've never had a problem. I sure hope you figure out what's wrong with her and I hope she gets better soon.
