Sick duckling!!! Please help. really worried UPDATE

She ate a couple bites but not alot like she usually does. she has not thrown up since but has pooped and it was very watery

How does she seem now? I mean at a month old she isn't going to stay awake long, they sleep alot. Has she drank much of the water with the charcoal in it. That should be her sole water for the night.

I am giving her a little at a time as to not upset her stomach. She is drinking it though when offered. She its still very tired. The olny time she will get uo now is when i wake her up to give her sotheing its going on 5 hours now of her straight sleeping.

Well just try to get her to drink that way she will stay hydrated. Hopefully what ever this is will pass, and with a good nights sleep she'll be fine in the morning. I will be praying for her and you, I hope you can get some rest.

Thank you. I will most likely sleep out in the living room next to her all night to make sure she is ok. I will update in the morning.

How is Gizmo this morning?

Gizmo seems to have done a complete 360 over night! I kept getting up every hour to check on her so i just ended up staying out on the couch with my hand in her brooder petting her cause it was helping her sleep. I awoke to nibbles on my hand and lots of trilling! She seemed very perky and very awake compared to last night. I took her out and let her walk to see if she was doing better. She can walk now but still kinda unsteady. More than she use to be. I gave her some epsom salt water and some food and she dove right in. I unfoutunatly had to leave for work but she is being watched by my fiance. He knows im really worried. He told me he had her out yesterday running around a little and that she tried to eat some of the bird food on the ground. So all i can think of is that she ate to many of the bird seeds and it made her sick because seeds are poisonus to ducks right? Well any way she is doing better and is alot more alert and not as sleepy and can hold her head up now. I told him to text me threw out the day with updates and if anything happened or got worse to let me know and i will come home. I really wanted to call off this morning and stay home all day with her. He has to leave for work at 2 so she will only be alone for a couple hours today. Hoping she is still doing well when i get home if not better. Thank you everyone for your help and concerns! It really is nice to have so many helping and caring people.

So, the epsom salt water was just one dose, and she's not going to be drinking it all day, I hope? Just fresh water now, right? I fret a little, please bear with me. It's obvious you care and are careful.
