Sick flock, two dead

No, it won't mix in the water it will settle out. You have to give it to each bird orally based on their weight. The only water soluble one is Safeguard AquaSol, and it's really expensive.
Use the dosing that @Wyorp Rock gave in her post, .23ml per pound of body weight, 5 days in a row.

Thanks all. I'm treating them and still waiting on necropsy results. Scared to go home and possibly find another dead.

No. As mentioned, it will settle out of the water. Dosing is by weight.
Hi. Today my girls will finish their first five days of Corid. The link from this website mentions continuing treatment for another 7-10 days with a lesser dosage of Corid. Is this what is usually recommended?

When I went to open the coop this morning, one of my girls had yellow gooey stuff on her chest. I also found a bit of it on the coop floor.
At first I thought maybe there was a broken egg but I found no shell and they never lay during the night. Plus, I don't see how she would have gotten it on her chest.
What might this be? Should I be worried? Pics below.
It has no smell. PXL_20230504_104637689.jpg PXL_20230504_104649070.jpg

Looks like egg.

What link? Some do give Corid for another 7-10 days at a lesser dose, you can if you wish.
I don't.
