How is Nugget?

Did the vet say how Nuggets spleen could fold over and what could have caused it? I know that you are not supposed to let a dog run around too much right after eating, because the intestines or something can get tangled and blocked. I wonder if that was the problem with Nugget. Hope he is feeling better soon.

You have one sick baby, First I would remove the flea collar. If it is warm where you are I would try to bath him. to get rid of the flea killer. Maybe being older his body can't take the new chemical. Then I would give him some peto-bismo... just like for you and follow the directions as if you were taking it... for the poops I'd give him kayopetate. as directed for adults-but only as when he poops.... start with spoon amount. Diet.. cooked rice mashed and fed with a spoon. we have 3 goldens and I had to give blan diet when we were having puppies... dry toast... I spoon everything... just like with babies. Give it a try... Good luck . Hate to see you loose a wonderful dog like nugget. I think maybe the new flea stuff is to strong for an older dog.. I know its new line but I stay myself with what I have been using for years.. good luck.. darn I guess I didn't read all of the replys........... I'm so happy... thank God.

How is Nugget doing today, I know when one of my poodles got sick and wouldn't eat,I mixed up raw egg and warm milk,(I know sounds gross), but the egg and the milk both have lots of protein.and he need lots of fluids right now, with all the love he is getting he is really a special dog.(I guess to me all dogs are)
