Sick goose, I think

Yes my birds have a good diet. Corn and lettuce are just treats. They eat 16% layer pellets and cracked corn and scratch grains.

Just recently someone posted about feeding only corn as basic diet so I had to be nosy, sorry!

I couldn't imagine life with out mine. It's a blessing to know others feel the same about theirs too.

How many do you have? I have 70 ducks and 4 geese, they all have names too. And unlike most I can tell them all apart. Just little differences. My biggest challenge was the 8 khaki campbells I got all at once. They were tough but I got them all figured out. Lol

I have a tiny amount compared to you only 16 ducks all have names and only 2 geese and 18 chickens.

I have 3 chickens left. Had 12 but lost them over the years. Moved on to waterfowl. I lost my favorite duck last Christmas. She has a tumor. It was too close to heart to remove it. So I kept her comfortable until she passed in my arms....omg crying right now. Her name was leslie because she was a crested duck but she never got her Crest, that's how she got her name. I got her stuffed. She was Crest less so she was my leslie.

She was a one on a million. She would let me pet her and pick her up anytime. Unlike the others.

Wow what a nice way to remember her she looks so life like. I thought she was at first. So sorry for your loss.
