Sounds like impacted crop or sour crop if it's enlarged! Do a search on here and it should tell you what to do.

Any noise? Wheezing? Has she pooped at all? Did she give you any indication that something was going on recently?
Anything from the experts here?

Gosh, I am so sorry. I am hoping that one of the resident experts can shine some light on this. My chickens are my beloved pets, too. I feel your pain and worry.

Is 4 at the upper limit for her breed? Is there something that is common in older chickens, like heart disease, and I mentioned stroke before.

One thing that I DO know is thay need a fair amount of water. Would she drink if you touched a drop to her beak? I hate to tell you what to do, I'm no expert. But if this was my sweetie, I would see if I could get her to take some water. I would also consider her swallowing capacity if she DID have a stroke.

No poop and no food/water isn't the best sign, I'm sorry. I am hoping for the best for you two. XOXO

I hate to leave but my DH is at the end of his patience, i was supposed to be somewhere an hour ago. I'll check back later.

well i did some research and it turns out she had impacted crop meaning her crop was plugged up treating it you have to get them to drink veggi oil then message the crop for awhile but she was pretty bad so all we could do was message. then we found out she had here eyes closed because a rat bit her eye. i was in the coop massaging her crop with a flashlight when a huge rat we have been tring to get rid of for a few days comes through the chicken door i through the flashlight at it and it took off. so we figured it must have bit her last night. we had to put her down about half hour ago she got worse her eye was bleeding and she started puking we didnt want her to suffer anymore.
