So, we figured a lot out over the last few months, and I just have been too busy to post anything. I will post the necropsy results soon. Basically, we had these two bacteria go wild and infect the flock. (Pasturella and Galibacteria, forgive the spelling.) We got a drug that works, and are treating any birds that get sick. yes, I still have birds getting sick, but none have died for a while.
When ever a chicken dies it has to refrigerated immediately not frozen. I live in oklahoma and the county extension picked up the bird within two days of it demise. It was free. They stated they were doing them to monitor any infectious diseases like newcastle.
