Wishing you both the best of luck!Thank you both! I made an appointment for her tomorrow afternoon. My husband is reluctantly bringing her in as it is my super long day at work. Hopefully, they can give her injectable medications while there as hubby and I are are leaving to go out of town for 5 days starting Wednesday to visit his father who has been ill. We will have a house/pet sitter, but she’s not experienced with ducks.
I definitely want to pursue the implant if possible. Last time this came up, with Daphne, I was told this could not be done in Vermont. Hopefully, they were either wrong, or that has changed.
Sooooo happy things turned out well for both her and you.Thank you all for your kind replies! G2 had a successful visit! I told hubby to ask about an implant, and they did it! I thought it wasn’t available here! I feel bad now that I didn’t know that earlier this spring for Daphne’s sake. At any rate, no more egg laying for G2 this summer! She also received an anti-inflammatory injection and an oral antibiotic. I am leaving Wednesday AM, so that’s a bit problematic, but I’ll see what can be done. The first picture is of her during her visit. They other two are of her once she got home!

Glad everything went well and you were able to get that implant. She looks good, and bravo to hubby for being able to do this!Thank you! She’s got awfully large pills that I have to give, so we will see how that goes. I’m going to at least get her on the right track before I leave. There’s enough to do a full 14 day course on we get back too. I hope that this gets her back to her full strength!
