Looks like conjunctivitis, but hard to know the cause. I would keep it flushed with saline and get some Terrramycin eye ointment to put into the eye a couple of times a day.

Do you provide a source of grit (crushed granite) for your birds?

Great, thank you! Prime will have some here Wednesday. In the meantime, I have been dosing her with Vetericyn Plus every four hours - it seems to help and she keeps it open for a while afterward.

And yes on the grit! Though my big girls free-range all day and they never touch it. The new little ones do have access.
