Hi, everyone! I'm sure I'm the millionth to ask this very question so I appreciate your help and feel free to be like "per my earlier email" and link me to an old post.
Before we even start, it's too late to quarantine.
And she's been eating and drinking the whole time.
My questions, before this long description are, do I need to do anything else and how long before I consider her out of the woods?
New chick came home Saturday and one of her little eyes was closed, she had runny/foamy poop, and she slept the majority of the first day. I put some Vetrimycin in her eye (a few times) and it's open but still watery and she seems to be itching at it some. Started everyone on Corid (we're 24 hours in) and a local chicken mom gave her a dose of oxytetracycline (no stores with Tylan or vets were open in Atlanta on Sunday and she seemed in bad shape so we went for it.)
Today, she is up and moving around much more but still seems to fatigue sooner than her flock mates, still favoring the watery eye but it is open more often than not today, poop is a lot less runny/foamy, and she seems, in general, to be in be spirits.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
