Green poop is a really bad sign, unless he’s been eating a lot of peas. Why no vet? I think your duck needs antibiotics, and you need to see a vet to get them. Your duck could die.

Try buying night crawlers at the fish bait store. I gave them to Quackers when she was egg bound and not eating, they really perked her up.

Good idea i bet she loved that! Its all frozen here no nightcrawlers till spring

And as far as vets its the money, 120$ just for the 15 minut visit then up from there

A duck is not a proper outlet for disposable income when you could buy food for someone hungry or food for your own table

I have lots of pets and they are all fed and sheltered top notch, But theres a limit on everything

Hes still being tube fed and wont eat his feed!

Iam going to try and new feed tomorow anything to get him eating

Ya and spring is probably in July up there. I can't believe the vet costs! Our border collie had a cut on his mouth in October $12. Then when we had to put our sweet Honebear down it was $28. You should be able to order stuff to help him online though and it won't cost that much!

My husband is from California and he was used to prices like that. When Honey fell and got hurt, she was crying all the time and in so much pain he was against taking her into a vet because of the cost but when I called them and heard how much it was he was relieved. The other option was a gun to the head and I wasn't having that! I didn't care if it cost a million $$$$! I can't even imagine doing that. The sweet dog/duck/whatever looking up at the muzzel of a gun and BANG! NOPE!

I made the unwise choice with a dog that I had for 15 years. That was 20 years ago and I still have nightmares from time to time.
