9 month old Australorp pullet suddenly seems ill. She was normal yesterday. Shes laying still with her legs either curled under her or with one stretched behind her. I picked her up and she had several loose stools, seemingly without control. No respiratory symptoms in her or any of my other pullets.

Will she eat or drink anything?
She took some small sips of water when offered.

It's hot out, so I put her in the kiddie pool, thinking she was maybe overheated, and she's inside in the AC now. No changes.

She keeps closing her eyes but when open, her eyes are clear and bright.

No injuries that I can see. Not egg bound. Nothing higher than her roost that she could have gotten on and been injured coming down from.

Try giving her this to eat:
  • 1/4 c of her feed
  • Add water until it is soggy
  • Add 2 tbls of DE
  • Add 2 tbls of garlic powder
  • Mix it up and feed it to her
