Hello :frow

I have an older Japanese Bantam Rooster, Cowboy. He’s approximately 6-ish years old. He’s been acting weird lately (for the past week). Something’s amiss for sure! He holds his head down as of he’s cold, but it’s warming up outside and he acts cold. He’s holding his head down and raising his hackles. He can usually be found outside free-ranging, but lately he’s stayed in the nesting boxes. He’s currently being treated for severe scaley leg mites, but I don’t think that’s what’s causing him to feel/act sick. His comb is even turning slightly purple.
His flock-mate is an EE bantam hen.

Bedding- pine chips
Food- flock feed (and occasionally some scratch feed & starter for treats)

I don’t think it’s mareks... or at least I hope it’s not. If I need to add any further information, I will :)

TIA,
-Kayla-

Has there been a rapid drop in temperature recently?
Has he been pooping? Are his poops normal?
Are his nostrils clear?
Get some poultry nutridrench and some Vet RX from TSC.
If his comb is starting to turn purple that means he isn’t getting enough oxygen. Check his mouth to see if anything is obstructing his airway.

It’s been 32+/- and goes up into the 50s throughout the day.
He has been pooping, and yes they’re normal.
He sometimes has to breathe through his mouth.
I have PND I’ll add some to his water now
