Sick rooster, no appetite

A friend of mine has a pet rooster that is not doing well. He refuses to eat or drink and just sits around. Does not seem to have swollen face or wattles, no cough. Did have green poop at one point and now has not pooped recently. He did have a yellowish material in his mouth that she removed with a Q tip. Now has a clear discharge from his mouth.

How long has he not been eating? Has he lost weight? A clear discharge from the mouth is can be a bad sign, as in the dying process has started.

It has been several days. She has tried to get a mash down him, and fluids. We just can't seem to figure out what it is.
