sick rooster

help his comb and his entire face is pale he is eating and he chuged down the wormer he now has antbyodics in his water

If he is sick with worms he may just need a nutritional boost. Unless a vet gave the antibiotics I would stop them.

What did you deworm him with? If these symptoms continue I'd take a fecal sample to a vet and go from there. Also, a necropsy can be performed to see what else is going on.

thank you every one. I checked on he this morning and when I picked him up he was a little fatter and was back to his old self.

He is getting worse now his comb and face is pale and he is getting weaker please help he is my priced rooster and he is only a year old.
but he is ganeing very little weight.

I don't know if I am in the right place to ask a question. But here goes anyway. My rooster started looking pretty tired and stopped crowing about 1 week ago. Now he is not moving around too much, tries to eat and is eating very little. I have to encouraged him to eat and have even taken to hand feeding him. He is not laying down but stands in a drooping way, is slow (like druggy) and eats at a very slow pace. This is unusual for him since he used to be very active and crowing all the time. I know he is not feeling very well (I really expected him to be dead this morning) so I brought him into the house and separated him from his hens. I heard him cough once since I brought him in. It looks like he has a sore throat. His comb has also drooped. His eyes look tired. What can I do for him since I don't have the money to afford a vet. Please I need your help.

when my roo quit crowing it was worms... sadly i didn't figure this out till he fell over dead..... i had treated with a wormer that did not kill the type of worms he had... so now i use wazine in water for 24 hrs, then 10 days later ivermectin pour on.......... everyones doin fine now.... good luck..

It would help if you answered these questions:
1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
