sick turkey. need advice

i have a hen that is like a pet. we have had her since day 1 and she follows us everywhere. she is at the age of laying and we are getting an egg every couple of days. she is acting completely normal. no sluggishness or anything just completely normal. the thing that makes me nervous is that she is sneezing, has mucus seeping from her nostrils, and has swelling in the skin around her eyes. its an obvious swelling. any advice that could help will be much appreciated. thanks

sounds like she has Mycoplasma galliseoticum, chronic respiratory disease. Those are classic signs of it. Get her on some antibiotics asap, tylan or tetracycline based are great for it. Would also be good to get some vitamin supplements to add to her water as well to help her out. Follow dosing directions and in a few days she should start to show signs of improvement, just dont let her go without them though!!!! Also, it is contagious, so if you have other birds, dose them as well.

I second that. I use Tylan or LA 200. Best to nip it in the bud quickly. Best Wishes

I agree with everybody else. Alot of feed stores/ tractor supplies carry Tylan Powder

The dosage for the Tylan powder is 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. I don't know about the LA220 never used it. This is what you are looking for.
