Hello all. I’ve searched these forums but can’t find exactly what I’m looking for.

I have a 7 month old heritage mixed breed tom in question.

I brought tom and hen home around 3 months of age. Turkeys arrived healthy and happy. No issues integrating. Approximately 1.5 weeks ago tom wouldn’t go into coop and was isolated. I retrieved him and inspected and saw no issues. Next evening he was isolating again and I noticed diarrhea. Tom was isolated and observed. Continued to have appetite. Next day noticed the foamy diarrhea. Ordered corrid and ran protocol for 5 days. Tom has dramatically lost weight will continuing to eat. Diarrhea has subsided.

My concern now is the drop in weight and he does not want to stand. I am doing PT/exercises daily. I have reintroduced vitamins. Diet is pellets, fresh produce.

No. Just our chickens. This turkey Was previously living with other chickens and turkeys. We did quarantine 5 days before full introduction to our flock.
The stress from being moved could have triggered something he was already carrying.

Just because he was living elsewhere with chickens doesn't prevent things like blackhead which could be in your chicken flock, and soil. Chickens don't show symptoms but can be carriers. Generally it takes at least 7 days after exposure to show symptoms, so I'm not completely sure it is Blackhead.

In my experiences once a turkey can't get up anymore it won't. Sounds like you are doing all you can. Is it eating and drinking?
